October 11th, 2009 RAWF Cup Qualifier: We presented 5 horses at this show at the Royal Canadian Riding Academy, and we were very pleased with the results. It was a first show for 2 of our entries, Kidepo, owned by Kate MacDonald, and Simon, owned by Marj O’Donnell, and they had a great experience! Dalwhinnie, Kona F and Romance in Ashes were presented under saddle and in hand again, and all qualified for the Royal. Well done kids!.
September 19th and 20th, 2009 Canadian Sport Horse Breeders Show and 1st RAWF Cup Qualifiers: September brought around the first qualifier for the Cup Classes for the 2009 Royal Agricultural Winter Fair, as well as the Breeders Show for the Canadian Sport Horse Association. We presented Finn, owned by Stephanie Mason, in the 2 year old gelding class, and were just a hair away from taking first place! We were thrilled with his results and his behavior, it was his very first show, and he had only been at Braecrest 3 weeks prior! We presented 3 horses at the Qualifier on Septmeber 20th. Romance in Ashes, owned by Claire Sutherland, Dalwhinnie, owned by Jan Bigelow, and Kona F, owned by Lorraine Denhoed. The fillies did very well and all earned points towards qualifying! Thank you to Molly Mackenzie, Brian Keir, and Kevin Maxie for helping handle and catch ride some of these youngsters for me!
Braecrest Summer Showcase: August 16th, 2009 We hosted our very first horse show for the Canadian Sport Horse Association. The day was a great success, and we look forward to hosting the Braecrest Summer Showcase again in 2010! Thank you to everyone who helped make that day such a great success!
2 Braecrest Horses attend Eastern Canadian Free Jumping Competition April 5th, 2009
Athos II and Bella Dona, two exceptional young 4 year olds, competed in Sunday's event at the Royal Canadian Riding Academy. The competition is jointly organized by the Hanoverian Breeders Club of Eastern Canada and the Canadian Warmblood Horse Breeders Association.

September 15, 2007 - Breeder's Show and Cup Qualifier at Hendervale
Other than being a super long day! This show was a great success.
Romantic Pursuit showed beautifully, placing second in the CSH 2 year old filly class. Just Grande, Cut to the Chase, Trivalli DF, and Sinful Intentions were the 4 three year olds we brought to the Cup qualifiers. Just Grande (owned by Brooke Dunford) was handled and ridden by Claire Hunter, and was just wonderful.

Thornlea Stables - CSH Show
Romantic Pursuit competed in the CSH show at Thornlea Stables on July 15th.
She was on her best behavior and has really started to use herself at the trot. She came home with a second place in the CSH, first in the Open, and a Reserve Champion in the Open division. Braecrest Stables presented Hot Gossip, Wasabi, and Romantic Pursuit at the 2006 RAWF.
Romantic Pursuit wins 1st place CSH Yearling Filly, and Junior Grand Champion! Hot Gossip, owned by Val Smith, competed in the Governor General and the Lieutenant Governor General Cup Classes at the 2006 RAWF. She was handled and ridden by Claire.

We took Diesel, bred and owned by Krystal Martin, to his first show at HighPoint Farms. After only 2 months under saddle, this boy made us all proud. He competed in the hack division, and came home with first, second, and third place ribbons. What a perfect first show experience for this three year old Trakehner gelding!
