| Always a pleasure to attend with our youngsters, is HighPoint Schooling Show, hosted by Anne Gage. It's a great place to get our 3 year olds used to being in the ring with several others in a show format. We took Becky DeHaas' 3 year old gelding 'Chinook', and Dee Marvin's gelding, Jasper. |
On June 30th, we took our "Romantic Pursuit" and the Sutherland's mare "Sinful Intentions" (Kierra) to the line show at Executive Boarding in Burlington.
This was Kierra's first show ever, and she was most definitely on her best behavior.
She stood up beautfully for us, jogged like she'd done it a hundred times, and overall was a pleasure to handle.
Thank you to Kevin and Claire S. for having Kierra with us this year. We have recently started this mare under saddle, so keep an eye out for her at some shows later in the summer with U/S Classes. 
Julia was a good girl too, but was most definietly having a baby day!
With giant horse flies, and feeling a little too fresh, she just wanted to bounce all the way down the long side! Silly baby. The judge had wonderful things to say about her, just loved her quality and presence...but needed to see that jog! She placed 2nd in the CSH class.
