Braecrest was proud to take 4 promising young fillies to attend the CSH Show and Cup Qualifiers at Thornlea Stables last weekend.
Romantic Pursuit started out the day beautifully with a first place ribbon in the CSH Yearling Filly Class. Well done Julia! This lovely filly also brought home the Reserve Junior Champion ribbon to make us all proud. Don't forget this filly is available for sale! Hot Gossip and Silver Lining did exceptionally well in the CSH three year old filly class. Hot Gossip placed fourth after 3 absolutely stunning mares, and Silver Lining came home with a 6th. There were 12 impressive fillies in this class, and our two were definitely noticed by judge, Mr. Jack Braithwaite.
Hot Gossip, handled by Claire, went on to compete in the Governor General Cup Qualifier Class along with Wasabi, handled by Val. These fillies made their owners proud by placing 8th and 9th out of 41 entries! Well done ladies!
Hot Gossip did very well in the Lieutenant Governor General Qualifier, placing 12th out of over 40 entries, and gaining points towards qualifying for the Royal.
We're all looking forward to the next Qualifier and Canadian Sport Horse Show at the RCRA October 21st and 22nd. Keep your eye out for Romantic Pursuit, Hot Gossip, Silver Lining and Wasabi!
