Cupola
My Dad, Chris Hunter, had an amazing birthday present for me up his sleeve this year...he build a custom Cupola for Braecrest! It has been in our living room since he built in (February!), and the weekend of June 21st, we raised the Cupola!
With the help of Lisa Allingham, George Cook, Brian Keir, Anna Lynn MacDonald, Chris and Debbie Hunter, Pat Gow and her grand daughter Hanah, and myself, we got this thing up on the roof of the blue barn...a good 25' peak!
After careful planning and discussion, we decided where it should be placed, and George and Brian secured it up there. Fortunately Chris had built it in three pieces so it was fairly easy to get up there and assemble. With Lisa and Anna Lynn's help, we were organized and everyone stayed safe. The scariest part of the entire thing was the daunting massive lightning storm rolling in!I just want to send out a big thank you to my Dad, and everyone that helped that day. You are all wonderful people, and I am lucky to have you all in my life!
