After having had such a bad experience sending Houston out, and that was to a "friend" to be backed, I was so worried to send our "sensitive" Kierra to anyone. Claire, went above and beyond to see that she was not rushed in any way and that she became confident in what was expected of her.
Kierra was a little unsure of herself in the beginning. Having been born and raised at our place, Kierra very unsure and untrusting of strangers. That was overcome by the patience and kindness in which she was handled with at Braecrest. She also developed an excellent work ethic. When she was in the show ring, Kevin and I could not have asked for a better behaved girl! She matured and blossomed under Claire's excellent guidance.
She was origanally sent to be backed, for a month, probably two, with the hope of maybe getting to The Royal. With the progress we saw in Kierra, and quality of care provided, we decided to keep her there until Novemeber.
